Van Simmons has served as a member of our Board of Directors since July 2021. Mr. Simmons has been President of David Hall Rare Coins, Inc. since 1991. He also co-founded Collector’s Universe (NASDAQ: CLCT), the leading grading and authentication service to the collectibles market, where he served as a member of the board of directors from 1999 through 2018. As a rare coin dealer since 1979, Mr. Simmons is widely regarded as a leading authority on coin grading, having pioneered the coin grading standard in use today. Mr. Simmons holds a Masters Professional Director Certification from the American College of Corporate Directors, a public company director education and credentialing organization.
