Matt Weinschenk

Matt Weinschenk is the Publisher and Director of Research at Stansberry Research. He also serves as Senior Analyst for Dr. David “Doc” Eifrig’s family of publications and sits on the Investment Committee for Stansberry Portfolio Solutions. 

With nearly two decades of experience as an equities analyst, Matt started picking investments just before the global financial crisis of 2008. During that time, he quickly learned about investing in both good times and bad. 

At Stansberry Research, Matt Weinschenk works to find safe ways to grow capital in Retirement Millionaire, income-generating investments in Income Intelligence and options trades in Retirement Trader. His approach marries fundamental research and business quality with a quantitative understanding of the factors that drive stocks over both short-term and long-term horizons. 

Matt has been a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder since 2014. He also holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science from the University of Pittsburgh, and a master’s degree in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University.
